Review by hotel critic
The location is serene, perfect for focusing on work while still enjoying a peaceful ambiance. Upon arrival, however, I encountered a hiccup with check-in. The staff member struggled to process my debit card, and it required several attempts, resulting in a lockout. It was somewhat frustrating, especially since it was supposed to be a special occasion for my daughter’s birthday. The manager I spoke to was less accommodating than I expected, but I appreciated the overall service that followed. Once in my room, I found it adequately comfortable, with strong water pressure in the shower—a must-have after a long day of meetings. The on-site dining was noteworthy. The breakfast, highlighted by a delicious egg frittata, was fresh and set a positive tone for the day ahead. For those planning remote work, the hotel provides good internet access, a business centre with reliable equipment, and a calming lounge area. The Marriott strikes a nice balance between work and relaxation, making it a great pick for business travelers.
